tuques off

The coolest holiday craft fair in the city has to be Tuque, a uniquely curated show at The Western Front art gallery.

Entrance is free, and you’ll find vitamin v featured faves, such as leather handbags and shoes from Erin Templeton and Lovely Design letter sets and mailboxes.

Brand new on the scene are gold-cast apple cores and cocktail swords from boyfriend/girlfriend jewellery team OpenCupboards, darling Duddlepuff dolls by Devon Gifford, Emile O’Brian’s Muffs and Leah Weinberg’s baby hats from reworked sweaters.

Even the babies get tuqued.

Tuque runs Friday December 1, 6-9 p.m. and Saturday December 2, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at The Western Front, 303 E. Eighth Ave., 604-876-9343 www.front.bc.ca
