Snowshoe Grind First, Fondue Later

Snowshoe Grind First, Fondue Later

If you love the Grouse Grind and have been missing the exhilarating hike while the trail is closed for winter, try the Snowshoe Grind for a completely unique alpine adventure.

Located atop Grouse Mountain, the Snowshoe Grind is a steep, snowy out-and-back trail that begins just outside the Chalet, travels up to the Dam Mountain turnaround, and then fast-tracks back to the Chalet. It’s an ideal way to be in Grouse Grind-shape at the beginning of the summer hiking season. Initial Snowshoe Grind times are in the neighbourhood of 45 minutes-1 hour, but just like the hike, you do it on your own time.

Pair the experience with a fabulous fondue in the Chalet post-workout (pre-booking required) and enjoy the bragging rights of being one of the first to try Grouse Mountain’s latest winter challenge.
