* During the summer months, we switch hats and provide residential camps for low income families, teen and young moms and adults with developmental disabilities. All programs at the Camp resume in September. Programs at the Vine Avenue Child, Youth and Family Centre run year-round.
Contribute to Camp Alexandra's Community Cookbook and help us raise $10,000 for programs and services. Submit a recipe, check a recipe, promote, find sponsors and advertisers, contribute artwork or help to plan the launch. Click here for the recipe form and more information.
Seniors Wednesday’s Hot Lunch is a great way to spend the afternoon! Here's what people say about it: "I enjoy it so much and first came to reach out to people after my husband passed on"... VanDusen Festival of the Lights and dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory

Coffee House for Adults with Developmental Disabilities
runs the last Wednesday of each month 6 to 8pm. Bring your caregiver, friends and neighbours! We?ll provide music or improv theatre, plus an activity for you to participate in as you socialize with your friends (new & old). $3. Outreach services are also available for adult mental health consumers living in supported or independent settings. Crescent Moon Coffee House
Camp Alexandra Dining Hall (Lodge). Come and meet your neighbour, bring your instruments. 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, 4 pm.
Vine Youth Wellness Drop-In - Medical Services - Mondays (except stat holidays) and 4th Wednesday of evey month 3:30-6:30pm. Physicians & Youth workers are available to meet with youth to provide information and referrals around issues of wellness. 15455 Vine Avenue, White Rock. 604-538-5060 ext 21.
LINK drop-in for pregnant and parenting youth and young parents: Get connected to peers, find community resources and info on pregnancy and parenting, or just relax with some fun activities. Call 604-535-0015 ext 229.
ADULT & SENIORS PROGRAMS
Senior’s Hot Lunch: Wed 12-2pm . Come and join us for a delicious lunch, followed by entertainment or speakers. Rides provided in the Crescent Beach/Ocean Park area.
Needles and Pins Drop In Knitting Group
A drop in knitting group meets in the lounge on Wednesdays from 7 to 9 pm. Fees are $2 per person. This is a very informal, unstructured group. Please bring
your own projects and refreshments.welcome. No registration required.
Community Hot Lunch - Thursdays at First United Church in White Rock. Lunch is served at 11:30am and is open to anyone on a restricted income. $3/person or 'as you can'.
