We took a weekend off and headed for the city that never sleeps to brush up on our ABC’s: art, boutiques and cocktails.

abound. Within blocks of each other we found unique boutiques Epaulet,
Bird and Dear Fieldbinder stocked with the likes of labels Christopher
Deane, Loeffler Randall and Lorick. Then check out Flight 001, a jet
setter’s dream come true, for the choicest city guides and a stylish
luggage set (for that new wardrobe, naturally).

Street is brimming with toothsome eateries, so stay in the Cobble Hill
hood. For a well-made cocktail and gourmet pub fare, saunter into the Clover Club.
The pressed tin ceiling, dimly lit lanterns and dark mahogany bar
straight out of the 1890s gingerly marry the moods of laid-back bar and
well-to-do gentlemen’s club. Our mouth has yet to stop watering from
the French Cowboy cocktail of gin, elderflower and lemon we downed and

website pre-trip for details on upcoming underground arts events and
where to locate the latest and greatest street art like the recent
pop-up animatronics exhibit in Greenwich Village attributed to the
