We enjoyed our post-yoga haze while sipping on fresh ginger-lemongrass tea as we lounged on our antique Balinese day bed in Rumah Widjah, (Rumah is Indonesian for house), our favourite of the ten lovingly restored, Javanese villas that dot the property's landscape.
Bliss was all we tasted when we downed some more of the creamy black-rice, coconut and sesame pudding after yet another soak in the salt-water pool and mulled over our only question—whether or not to try a traditional therapeutic massage with famed Balinese healer Pak Sami at the spa.
