If a trip to Disneyland is your idea of hell on wheels, read on.

The website for the Lexus of strollers, www.bugaboo.com, has just introduced a new section of daytrips to do with kids in cities around the world.

In Paris they suggest renting mini-sailboats and taking a ride on the vintage carousel in the Tuileries Garden followed by lunch in a spaceship-style restaurant and shopping at Colette.

London’s fun includes a transfer in a catamaran designed by Damian Hurst and an interactive children’s tour of the Tate Modern art gallery.

In Los Angeles, kids take the monorail up to the Getty Center and learn to sculpt in the Family Room. Later, parents order drinks at The Ivy.

Each daytrip includes useful information such as which building exit to take, exactly how to get from A to B, which good restaurants cater for kids, and each city comes with a very charming map by a local artist.

And the best part? Not a Goofy to be found.
