freaky friday

Wouldn’t it be fun to switch roles with your significant for just one day, and watch him panic and flounder as he tries to scrounge up a meal from the scraps in the fridge on a Friday night?

Well, funny maybe until you had to eat it.

Suggest you meet up after work for some cheap eats—and what do you know, we’ve found just the place.

The new Rocky Mountain Flatbread Company (an Alberta transplant) is located in a former Bread Garden on First Ave, near Burrard.

It’s fun, casual, and the home-styled pizzas are cooked right before your eyes in a massive wood-burning oven that acts like a hearth for the room.

Run by a savvy young couple who met in London, England and wanted to do good in the world, the fare is healthy, homey and easy on the pocketbook.

Easy is good.
