oodles of noodles

Need some sustenance after trying on 18 pairs of boots at Gravity Pope?

Head a couple blocks East to The Noodle Box, a fresh new restaurant that serves up healthy, fresh and fast Asian dishes in take-away boxes in a clean and modern environment.

With its super-high ceilings, glass storefront and row of sizzling woks, it's already attracting huge crowds at lunch. At 12:30 on a Saturday, the place was a sardine can.

But get in line, and you won't be disappointed by the Thai Green Curry ($9) or Singapore Cashew Curry ($10) with a choice of chicken, pork, tofu or prawns. There's even a Kid's Noodle Box ($4) and a no-carb version ($2.50). Dishes can come served over rice, or with noodles such as egg, udon, rice, ribbon or hokkein.

Started as a street food cart in Victoria's Chinatown, this is the third location and they're looking for partners to open more spaces immediately.

Someone's using their noodle alright.
