Becoming a mother has changed the way you think about everything. A Canadian Tire commercial can now make you cry, and you no longer take your skinny jeans for granted.
But your gal pals don't want to hear your mothering epiphanies every day, and frankly, your memory is so shot you worry you'll forget it all.
The Momoir Project is a series of writing workshops both at UBC and in more casual settings where you can hone your writing skills on the topic of motherhood and capture this time in your life—and maybe even the Governor General's Award—for posterity.
Begins May 8, 2008 at The UBC Writing Centre. Read more at www.themomoirproject.com
